Dogs are man’s best friend

Dogs are man’s best friend; so accordingly, we like to treat them as such, as our best friends. They love anything we do for them, be it playing fetch, tug of war, or just laying around and giving them a little loving. They are easy to please but they do require attention. People have found all sorts of ways to give them more attention. If you look around a pet store you’ll find more toys than you could ever imagine, toys like ropes and frisbees, toys that you can stuff food into, toys you can freeze for teething dogs, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Now, dogs really love toys but people also pamper their beloved pets by buying them small dog sweaters and shirts, and even shoes. That’s a bit questionable how much the dogs actually enjoy that form of pampering!

My dog Fritzie

My dog Fritzie loves her wooden dog steps because she can go up and down on the bed without any trouble. And what I also love about it is that it’s not just a step for the dog but also storage. I can keep her things inside the storage and can pull it out any time she wants to play her dog toys. It’s a double purpose for me and my dog. I like things that are very useful not just for 1 purpose but in any other purposes like what I have in our house. Even you have a big space in your house, still you want it to be more spacious especially having dogs around.

Dog Care

Dog treats are useful supplies in dog trainings. Depending on the size of the dog, its age and taste uniquely manufactured treats are available. It is one of the most effective method for providing necessary vitamins and minerals to the dogs. However, dog owners should be careful that these treats should not be replaced by the dog’s normal diet. It should be used only as an accessory in the diet. While feeding the dogs with treats or any other foods, it is suitable to use the elevated dog feeders to reduce the spill and messes while feeding the dog. This is useful for improving the health and digestion of the dog. Exercises are helpful for keeping the dogs healthy both physically and mentally.

Dogs as Humans

Humankind’s relationship to man’s best friend has taken on various forms throughout the years. Originally, dogs were meant to be companions and protectors of their people. Now dogs have become accessories, and some are even leading lifestyles that are quite close to being human lifestyles! Dog clothes, shoes, and dog beds amounting to more than four hundred dollars are only some of the ways in which some pampered pooches are living better than humans today. Most of these luxuries expended on a dog are unnecessary. Out of all of the nonsense that can be purchased for your four-legged friend, a sweater to keep warm in winter and an adjustable dog seat belt are things you actually need to keep the dog comfortable and safe. These items are practical and also protect your dog. All other trinkets not only make the dog look ridiculous, but you also look ridiculous for buying them. Give the dog his dignity so you can keep yours.

To many of us dogs are more than just our pets

They are our faithful companions and members of our families; that’s why it’s so important that they get the nutrients they need to live long and healthy lives. Most of the time, if a pet owner carefully researches the food that they give Fido they can ensure that he gets all the things he needs, but sometimes supplementing vitamins and nutrients is the best method. In a case such as this a consumer can go to almost any pet store and obtain quality dog supplements, anything from a standard multi-vitamin to glucosamine for healthy joints in elder dogs and all that lies between. Ensuring that Fido gets these valuable nutrients either through diet or dog supplements is the best way to improve the little fellows quality of life and to make sure he gets to warm the foot of your bed for years to come.

Why I Love My Pointer

I have an English Pointer or ‘bird dog’ named Sara. We welcomed Sara into our home when she was only eighteen months old. She has been a constant source of joy and entertainment to our family. Sara, however, is a special dog for one big reason, Of course everyones dog is special to their owner no doubt. Sara, however, had a very bad beginning. We got her from a friend of a friend. The friend told us he needed to find Sara a good home because he was moving to Baltimore, Md. and couldn’t take her. He said she was a very good dog but had many ‘mental issues.’ The person our friend got Sara from had severely beat her just about every day. The dog wouldn’t hunt for him. Now a person that knows about a hunting dog knows they won’t hunt for someone they don’t like. So Sara came to us. Here we had a young female that wasn’t much more than a bag of bones and was scared to death of everything. She would tremble so hard when we would go to her that she could hardly stand up. But she never made an attempt to bite. It took SO much patience on our part to bring this loving dog around to where she is today. For the first year she would never wag her tail and would just sit like she was so ashamed. Little by little she started to come around. First her tail would start to wag. Now it wags all the time with the happiness only a dog can have, especially when she sees cool dog supplies. Then, she started to willing go for rides in the truck with us. Today she is the most beautiful dog in the world to us and I wouldn’t take anything in the world for her. I often sit and hope and pray that she was able to somehow forget her horrible beginnings.

Dog food

Some of the foods which are edible and suitable for humans may be toxic for dogs such as Alcoholic beverages, Baby food, Bones from fish, poultry, or other meat sources, Cat food, Chocolate, coffee, tea, and other caffeine, Citrus oil extracts, Fat trimmings, Grapes and raisins, Hops, Human vitamin supplements containing iron, large amounts of liver, Macadamia nuts etc., While we are traveling with the dogs in a car to different places it is important to pack the necessary needs for the dog including food, dog car seat covers, fresh water etc., Milk should never be substituted with water because water is very essential for dogs. Dogs always loves to feed on raw meat, however raw liver may be toxic for dogs.

Why Do You Need Dog Collars?

A lot of dog owners treat their pets as a part of their family. They find it against their ethics to collar their dog. They not only want their dogs to have complete freedom within the house but outside as well. However when the dog is new and not trained properly, you might need to put an electronic dog collars around your dogs’ neck to keep it in control. Such situation arises when you fear that your dog might run out and meet with an accident or go off to the neighbor’s garden and destroy it. An electronic collar will send you signal that your dog is going out of your range and you can not only protect him but also protect your neighbors from him. However, once your dog is trained as to the risks of road and etiquette as to behave properly with neighbors and guests, you can give up on the collar.

My Pet Dog

1. As we all know dogs are the most faithful animal, I keep dog for protection. My pet dog name is DODO. When I went to buy dog I was very skeptical. But I chose Labrador species as this species helps in the investigation department because of their sniffing ability. My pet dog color is black. I love my doggy. He is such a faithful one. 2. He loves me so much. As I come from work he nods his tail when he sees me and pounce on me. He feels very jealous when my parents love me. He has become my family member. I always make sure that my Dodo dresses up neatly. Large dog clothes are normally not available in the market but I have designed some outfit for him and it suits him very well. I always buy for him soap, paste, pedigree, shampoo, etc for him. I make sure that all things He gets on time. We all take care of him as a family member.
