Beef – It’s what’s not for dinner!
I had the most amazing backed chicken last night. I mean amazing. My house is calling it Cinnamon Baked Chicken. I know there probably is a recipe out there for it somewhere, but we created this amazing chicken just by grabbing stuff out of our spice rack. What we did was take three chicken quarters of good size, frozen, and threw them in glass baking pan that was buttered. Then we added extra virgin olive oil, enough to have a very small layer in the bottom of the pan, about that much Texas Pete Hot Sauce, and our seasonings. First we started with chicken seasoning, added Season All (seasoned salt works well too), Ms. Dash Garlic and Onions, Ms. Dash Table Blend, pepper, garlic powder then a dusting of cinnamon across the top. Covered them with tin foil and threw them in a pre-heated 400 degree oven, until the meat thermometer said they were done, about 1.5 hours. When they were fully cooked we took the tin off the top and browned them for another 15 minutes, just to get the nice golden color. Served up some garlic mashed potatoes and it was the best meal ever!
