Today, it is a rare occurrence for me to actually be bored. There is so much that has to get done on a daily basis, with housework, kid’s activities and errands, that the day is over before I have a chance to get bored. If I ever find myself feeling bored, I will go for a jog to refresh my mind and feel better. Sometimes, I will simply sit at the computer and find any number of entertaining games or sites to visit. I think we have so much technology today, that boredom is becoming a thing of the past.

As I’ve gotten older, the things that inspire me have changed. In the past, it was the goal to get my degree and get a good job. Later, I was inspired by the idea of falling in love and starting a family. Today, my inspiration has changed focus. I am now inspired by people around me with a similar vision, which is that this life is not all there is. It would be hard to keep going every day, feeling that this is it. My inspiration is for the future and all that God has in store for mankind. I’m inspired to share my beliefs with others.

The greatest invention of all time, in my opinion, is indoor plumbing. Think about what life was like before indoor plumbing existed. Today, we simply turn a knob or handle and water comes flowing out. We don’t have to pump it out or walk outside to a nearby river or well to draw it out. We now have the incredible convenience of indoor toilets, because of plumbing. Press on a handle, and it simply flushes away. We all know what it’s like to camp outdoors, without these modern conveniences, and I can tell you that I am always thrilled to return to a home with indoor plumbing after those trips.
