If I could go back and relive the last 5 years over again, I think I would try my best to be more patient with my children and husband. I would spend more time cultivating relationships with people. I would hope to go back to the days that were especially difficult and make them better. Given the chance to undo anything I did or said, that affected someone negatively, would be a blessing. Reliving days that were joyful would also be a gift, and spending another day with someone who had passed away would be one more day to shine in their lives.

If I found out that I had only two weeks left before I died, there would be plenty to do. Assuming I felt good enough to travel, I would immediately travel to see my parents in Washington. I would spend much of my remaining time with them, helping plan for my children’s security after I was gone. My only regret would be not seeing my children grow up to adulthood. If I had any other regret, it would be that perhaps I hadn’t shared my faith with enough people. This would be my goal for the final 2 weeks. I would spend the time with family and friends and make sure they knew that I was certain about my eternal state after death. I would ask them if they were certain about their own.

In today’s world, pets have become an integral part of one’s life. Dogs especially have become not only Man’s best friends but also a status issue in society. The most expensive breed or perhaps the healthiest looking dogs are part of the whole social culture. Dogs like the dog owned by Paris Hilton who has its own wardrobe are something that dog owners are aiming at! Fashion among dogs is a growing business amongst most people. Specially customized unique dog collars and little jackets made by the best designers are the new trend setters. So what more can a dog want? A house of its own and whole new fad of clothes in a wardrobe…not too soon for a dog living the life of a human!

If I had an unlimited amount of money to spend on my home, it would be for a complete kitchen renovation. This renovation would require knocking out walls, beams and relocating plumbing lines. I would want to double the size of my kitchen and add a lot more cabinets. I would love to have a large, walk-in pantry and a center island in the middle of my kitchen, with granite countertops. I would choose the most beautiful granite and not worry about picking a design that fit our limited budget. I would add lighting under the cabinets and upgrade all my appliances. My new kitchen would be the focal point of my home.
