Are those Bear Tracks? Those are Bear Tracks…We Should Definitely Leave.

I wouldn’t say I ever feel the need to get in touch with nature (and most definitely not the “universe”); not the way I need food. I do however, love nature; the outdoors; the mountains, rivers, trees, animals: it’s quite intoxicating. I find that camping while canoeing/kayaking is my favorite way to interact with nature, and not the we-brought-our-trailer-with-us-so-we-could-have-plenty-of-running-water or we’re-camping-next-to-seventeen-other-families-in-a-small-field type of camping. I mean loading up a backpack with everything you need, bringing the water filtration pump, the waterproof bags, the butane-powered mini stove, and at the end of the night it’s the suspending-your-food-bag-from-a-tree-so-that-bears-won’t-eat-it-or-you type of camping. There’s no better way to interact with nature.

You’re Probably not Gonna Like This

Family Planning protest w 50 foot Giant Virgin...

If I had the chance to actually make a difference in my community, I doubt I would be in a “position of power”: the two concepts just seem like an oxymoron to me. A position of power like a governor or mayor is too bogged down with politics. Who am I offending by doing this, who isn’t going to pay me because I’m doing that, what group of people will call me this? But I guess that isn’t the essence of the question, so I will continue assuming there is a position of power that exists that doesn’t involve corruption or politics. So, if given the power, my primary focus would be on family planning. No one wants to talk about it, but the thing that is corroding our society is the fact that idiot people get to have as many idiot children as they want. “But no! You can’t control who has children! You can’t take away a person’s right to procreate! It’s a slippery slope!” Yeah, no kidding, but come on, SOMETHING has to be done. We need to make responsible family planning a priority and stop rewarding those who make irresponsible and selfish decisions.

Good companions

Whenever I feel worse on my life I would stick on a lot with my dogs for the consolation of mind. Hence I would feel fine with the dogs which I have in my house. I feel so much good with my dogs and their activities with me as they are so much energetic due to the food which I am giving .Usually I would offer them orthopedic memory foam dog beds for them to sleep comfortably. Always I am interested with their happiness and if at all a dog mine does feel bad I would also feel the same. This shows my love towards them and I wish them always be hale and healthy. I never ever avoided them on any account and also for anything. I am treating them as my children and thus they are so much attached to me.

But Moooooom, just 10 more Minutes!

When I was little there wasn’t really any one particular game that I enjoyed the most. I guess if I had to put a name on it I would call it Lady of the Forest: I liked climbing trees, playing in the dirt, making nests and forts and messing with as many animals has possible. I lived in the woods, essentially, when I was growing up, so just going outside and interacting with nature was my favorite way to spend my time. I also loved playing with my fake bow and arrow and pretending to be a hunter. Every now and then my sister would join me in my adventures, but more often than not she would decide what I was doing was dull and go back inside. But that was ok with me, I liked the solidarity of being in a tree by myself and being able to hear the wind in the trees or the birds flying around.
