One of my favorite recreational activities is doing random research through Wikipedia — or what I like to call “Wikiing”. It can start with just about any topic — like the other day, when I wanted to learn more about my favorite screenwriter, Charlie Kaufman. I was reading about his newest film, “Synecdoche, New York”, which lead me to an article about the city of New York. I only browsed that briefly before thinking about the Gangs of New York. Although I was planning on reading about Daniel Day-Lewis, I ended up reading about alternative history in the formation of the colonial United States — some very trippy stuff that you wouldn’t find in your typical history text book. I’m addicted to learning and definitely an internet junkie — so in my downtime I love to just read and research on whatever strikes my fancy at the moment… and see where it goes!

I ordered a pizza last night thinking that it would be my perfect companion in order to while away the small hours. It was from dominos, it was a mighty meaty and it was large. Yet someone had decided to play a trick on me, it was covered in Tabasco sauce. “Ha-ha!” I thought, seeing as I relish such spiciness. I consumed it with delight, all the while it was unbeknown to me that the sauce would hold some laxative effect – last night, I did not sleep.

Sportsman take prohibited drugs in order to improve their performance in sports and games. There are different types of drugs available in the market. Some help the sportsmen to develop their muscles. Others help them to improve their performance in sports and games. All these are very harmful to their body in the long run. They have very serious side effects. Yet the attraction of money and fame force many sportsmen to take it. The use of drugs by the sportsmen is on rise. Indian long distance runner Sunitha Rani failed in the drop test in Busan Asian Games. Her gold medal was first taken back. But later it was provided that she was innocent. The Asian Athletic Federation freed her of charges and her medal was returned. Shane Warne of Australia was dropped out of the world cup squad because of the drug abuse. The fact that many sportsmen use drug came out in the 1988 Olympics for the first time. Ben Johnson, the faster man on earth, was proved to have taken drugs. Now, every international has adequate facility for testing the use of drugs. Sportsmen will have to present themselves for the test after winning a game. Drug abuse must be completely wiped out from the field of sports. Strict punishments must be enforced for achieving it.
