This past week has been emotionally challenging. My job is in a precarious situation with the company possibly being sold…My boss tells me that she and I being hired on at the “new” company are all part of the deal. But I know that when the chips are down things can always change. Besides, I have no idea if I will like working for this new company. At home, things were just plain weird. Like finding the old rusted chainsaw discarded in my wildflower/ tomato patch outside my garage. So very STRANGE! Then, of course, I get my homeowner’s insurance bill. Oh my goodness! It went up over 20% from last year.

Most weekends seem to go by pretty quickly. It seems like the weekend is just getting started and then it’s already Sunday night. Sometimes I think this is a function of staying shut in at home. Well, this weekend I was able to make the time last a little longer. On Saturday my wife and I went to the church building to set up for a small ladies’ function. (The function itself was small, not the ladies.) Since my wife was facilitating the function I left her there and came back later to help clean up. A few of the women were hanging around afterwards and I was able to chat with them as I helped clean. On Sunday, after church service, a small group of us went out to eat. Since the weather has been so cooperative lately we got our food and ate out on the sidewalk. It wasn’t quite an Italian sidewalk cafe but the food was good and we sat and talked for quite some time. My weekend lasted a lot longer and was much more enjoyable since I got to see so many good friends.

As we know, dog is man’s Best Friend. And because of that it’s our duty to take care of its health. We can make our dog healthy by doing some things which are very easy to do. Taking care of dog coats is very important in this. Bathing the dog with a mild shampoo, brushing after applying a dog powder, cutting its nails on a regular basis will help to reduce a number of health issues. While washing the dog, make sure that the water does not enter its ear, as this will cause infection. We can provide xxs dog clothes also. There should have fenced yards and dog houses if we are planning to keep it outside. The dog house must be clean always. We should give a good training for our dog as soon as we bring it home. We can teach the primary lessons like giving shake hand, to sit, to run, going out to pee, etc. Playing with our dog will provide him good exercise and it will also give us happiness. Providing a well balanced diet is very important. We should take it to a veterinarian for regular check up so that it will help us to provide the appropriate medicines and tonics for its health and growth. Give your dog your proper attention and care; it will pay you back a thousand fold.

Okay, Frontline probably will never be the most highly viewed show in America maybe that’s part of the problem. But for those who do watch, they realize the depth and complexity of problems we as a nation face. Whether the topic is the environment, health care debates, energy, our dual wars, corporate misdoings or 3rd world issues, I feel like I am better informed – without the drama of “personalities” and agenda. I have seen hour long interviews with the people at the heart of the biggest and most complex problems, especially during the financial meltdown in 2008. While nothing could “fix” the problem at that point, it certainly made clear the complexities of the cause, and it was far more involved than any network reporting led us to believe.
