Put your feet up and relax…

I’ve always felt that it’s important to have down time, especially after a long day at work. I do a variety of things in my spare time to alleviate stress and enjoy myself. I like to keep fit, so I regularly attend the gym and play football, which is a great way to make friends and have fun while exercising, even if none of us are quite of the ability of Wayne Rooney. I also enjoy slowing the pace down and resting my body. To that end, I love to read and play guitar. I’m currently reading A confederacy of dunces by John Kennedy Toole, which is a hilarious book that I can not recommend highly enough. When I play guitar I tend to play hard rock, there’s probably no better way to unwind than to plug in a guitar and lose yourself in your favourite song or riff!

Mmm, delicious!

My little sister loves to cook, so we have been taking advantage of this by having her cook all our meals! Recently she made a beautiful prawn dish. I’d never really tried prawns before but as soon as the scent from the kitchen hit me I was salivating! She cooked the prawns with onions, peppers, mushrooms, a dash of chilli powder (we all love spicy food) and garlic paste, before finally adding a little squirt of honey to sweeten the dish a little. Although it may sound like an odd combination of ingredients, it worked tremendously. The dish had the right combination of sweet and savoury, crunchy and soft, just thinking about it now is making me hungry!

Dogs are man’s best friend

Dogs are man’s best friend; so accordingly, we like to treat them as such, as our best friends. They love anything we do for them, be it playing fetch, tug of war, or just laying around and giving them a little loving. They are easy to please but they do require attention. People have found all sorts of ways to give them more attention. If you look around a pet store you’ll find more toys than you could ever imagine, toys like ropes and frisbees, toys that you can stuff food into, toys you can freeze for teething dogs, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Now, dogs really love toys but people also pamper their beloved pets by buying them small dog sweaters and shirts, and even shoes. That’s a bit questionable how much the dogs actually enjoy that form of pampering!

Money, money, money…

It’s no secret that we’re living through difficult financial times, and it has been a shame to see some of my favourite stores disappear from the streets, all because of financial errors made by the banks! This time has been particularly difficult for me as I am a recent university graduate and was looking forward to working for a year before going to medical school. Due to the poor job market, it took me a long time to get a job, which I eventually got working in a local hospital. I was only working for two months before my hours were massively reduced due to the closure of one of the wards, a consequence of budget cuts within the NHS due to the recession! I’m pleased that we seem to be coming out of the recession and have every faith that the economy will recover and things will pick up again in the next two or three years.

A day in the life…

I’ve had a great day so far. This morning I found out that my accommodation at medical school has been approved and, as the last piece of the puzzle, it leaves me free of any major concern or stress (besides saving up a bit of money) for the next month or so. After breakfast I took my dog out on a stroll in the park, he’s getting on a bit now but he’s still got bags of energy and it’s always a joy to watch him chasing sticks and balls, even if the ball he comes back with isn’t always the one that was thrown to him! I had only been home for five minutes when I received a phone call from my girlfriend, who called to tell me she’d booked a surprise skydiving trip for the pair of us. I was so excited, I’ve always wanted to try skydiving and now I’ll finally get the chance! For the next couple of hours I’ll be helping my mother around the house and in the garden, before going out tonight to see a film and have some drinks with friends.

Life is beautiful

Life is beautiful when you adhere to the spices of life and fulfill the little necessities of life.Leading a life having compassion towards the other humanbeings and rendering service to mankind is yet another important thing one should acquire so you get peace and satisfaction and feel that you have achieved for what you were sent to this earth.Doing little things for mankind makes me happy may be very little comparing to big charities and social work made by big organization but I do what ever I can with available resources.Making my life rich with good and lovely experiences rendering service to the humanity is a great job to be experienced.

Small town

I live in a small town having 4 lacs of population which is growing day by day and improving our lives having all those modern day technical things availble in our town even though it is small in size.We have the basic amenities available, good serene places nearby to visit and refresh our mind ,can get fresh air just near by visiting the river side walk way and mountains around our town makes it greeny in rainy season and almost all the year.So a nice place with world importance having something important to world.So basically my place is good and important too for me and for the rest of the world.

I wear casuals

As daily I wear casuals today was no different either and I was in my casual wears which comforts me much rather than those formal wears.I never like the formal wears and really can not wear them and maintain them for long hours so most of the time I avoid the rituals and festives outside that requires formal dressing.I feel happy and comfortable wearing casual things being at home and feeling happy doing all daily activities in those dressing.There is nothing comparable to comfort of wearing casuals.So I never have to plan daily for what to wear and what not,it is quite easy for me choosing because I choose those which comforts me most.

Fun With Your Dog

Need help finding activities to do with your dog? There are plenty out there. In most areas there are public dog parks to take your dog to meet and play with other dogs. They often have a large grassy area to run on and a small dog pool. Look for dog events like Halloween celebrations, many pet store have dog Halloween costume contests. There are also Christmas activities at most pet stores. Take a training class, training classes are not only fun for your dog but they are also learning new things. Take a trip to your local river or lake. Take your dog for a walk even if its short they still love it and it’s good exercise. If those are too much for you play fetch in the back yard. Give your dog a new toy to play with. There are many options to keep your dog busy.

A contented life off course and nothing else

A life without worries, without problems relating to health, family, debts, credits,etc.A life with a lot of people around me celebrating so many things and occasions and festivities adding color to forms life.A life with out pretending something.A life with full honesty towards all spheres of life.Peaceful living in a place without disturbances from any one in the world and without all the negative facets of life.A life where in I can give others and not borrow from others.So always I try to make something different with whatever little effort.
